USB printing only possible with active Internet!
Quote installation guide:
"The printer must be set up with HP Smart and an Internet connection. After setup, you can also print via a USB cable if necessary, but the printer must still be connected to the Internet".
I don't assume this when I buy a printer with a USB connection!!!Quick to set up, uncomplicated setup

Back in the 90s, my first printer was slow, noisy and required 5 to 6 minutes of noisy warm-up before I could spit out a few black and white pages a minute.
Now that I've got the OfficeJet Pro 8025e, I miss those days when I could at least print. Now I systematically have to wake it up manually, then go to its html page, print a test page, then light a candle before it finally decides to print something in very approximate quality. I've had to change the cartridges at a cost of half a fortune, realign the heads that might have been misaligned for some obscure reason, nothing, the machine just gives me beautiful scratches, beautiful cast letters, scratched photos and so on.
A horror. To show you the quality of the firmware, no device (iphone, computer running windows 10 / 11, etc.) detects it as an offjet pro 8025e but as another model.
