This is not a printer. This is a subscription to HP and they install monitoring software on your computer to send all your documents to their "cloud" servers. Only the tech-savvy will understand how to avoid the HP cloud, but at the cost of paying 3x as much for ink and only using the generic Windows scan/print software. Avoid for any long-term use, even if you get the subscription, as after 6 months the ink will cost more than the printer. Also, randomly stops working without manual power cycling. Shame on HP.

I regret buying this horrible device every time I use it. I daydream about throwing it from a seventh floor. It makes me want to short HP stock with 100x leverage.
It is all about getting your data to them, and there's absolutely no interest in user experience and usability.
It will make you log in to their app every time you want to scan and print. It will be difficult to set up on both your PC and your phone. It will make your life miserable if you don't subscribe to their automatic ink delivery subscription. If you buy your own ink it will not work - the printer will always complain about random problems such as "not being able to communicate with the cartridge". I. Am. Not. Joking.
It's literally a spying product. When I was subscribed to their ink delivery service it was regularly complaining that I'm switching it off so it can't know what I'm doing and it asked me to keep the printer always on because "it doesn't spend much electricity".
Stay clear from this one. I'll be sending mine to my arch enemy for his birthday. Also, please contact me if you're selling a used printer from 2000s that's not internet connected.

Printed twice, then no more. App and website say: "all good now, green light, print!" - then it doesn't work and everything is red. Unfortunately without any indication (none!) why not. So no idea whether software, paper, cartridge or something else.
