After half a year of use, I am still thrilled. The most important difference to the smaller model, which only costs half as much, is the VO2Max value calculation. It has actually helped in training, e.g. to improve endurance.
A second nice feature of this watch is the synchronisation via a smartphone (whether Android or IOS) to the internet. Immediately after training, when you get close to the mobile phone, the data is sent up, and back at work, you can view the values on the internet.
The watch weighs almost nothing. It looks pretty unimpressive, but it can do a lot.
I can recommend the watch. - hollendo

Had a Polar watch earlier. I sceptically switched to Garmin. Now I'm glad I did. It's a great watch with great operation.
The synchronisation via W-LAN with subsequent evaluation on the mobile phone is great.
Really a fine and elegant piece. The touch operation is also good and simple. It takes a little time to set up at the beginning, but then you're ready to go.
I can only recommend the clock.Pro

purchased this productThe quality of the Forerunner 620 is not convincing
I have had this watch for 5 months and wear it every day, even when I am not running.
Pro
- Basic functions work quickly and reliably
- VO2max: nice toy
- Cadence: A highlight for me
- GPS quite accurate
- Connection to the chest strap: flawless, always works immediately
Contra
- after 5 months the wifi module has given up the ghost and the watch has to be returned to the manufacturer
- Plastic casing: Looks cheap, but is very sturdy and has survived 5 months without scratches
- you have to use GarminConnect, and this web app is not very intuitive.
- After 4 months, the nameplate came off the back of the clock.
