    Anyone who works with fixed focal lengths will immediately take this lens to their heart.

    The lens is a little bigger than the XF23mm, but it feels great in the hand with the X-T1 and X-Pro1.
    The sharpness is a pleasure every time. You only need the aperture to control the depth of field.
    The close-up capability     of the obi lens is a sensation, the background disappears in a soft sea of colour.
    The obi lens is for all those who like to work with fixed focal lengths. You can achieve effects that are not possible with a zoom lens. With an aperture of f/1.4 it is very fast. The autofocus is fast.
    It is also the first fixed focal length that has weather protection. Which I haven't tried yet. But I have already photographed with the XF56mm and XF35mm in pouring rain without any problems, it can only be better.

    Perfect!

    Great lens! A must have for the Fujifilm system. I've been using it for a few months now and I'm still thrilled. Distortion is extremely well controlled, the lens is very sharp and vignetting is no problem - very amazing for such a 16mm wide angle lens!

    I even use the lens for "environmental" portraits, it works very well to bring in the surroundings but keep the focus on the person (works great with the f/1.4 aperture). Also very suitable for low light.

    To use the f/1.4 aperture in bright daylight you have to consider the high shutter speed and therefore need the electronic shutter more often.

    A great lens for landscape photographers.

    Super lens that I love to use in landscape photography. You do not have to say much about it, there are quite a few tests on the web that also confirm this. Ps. don't be scared the AF is not completely silent, there are Fujions that are a lot quieter, nevertheless it is extremely fast!
