Acceptable for a small entry-level printer for light use, because the cost per page is still fairly high (consumables are not very cheap). It is compact. The LCD screen is small, which makes it difficult to read the information. It's a pity that the front paper tray lacks a small closing flap, which would have been a plus to prevent dust when not in use.
I tested it with a WiFi network connection. Printing for occasional office use is good. The scanner takes quite a long time to scan. Overall, the printer is not very noisy, which is good.
Commissioning/installation isn't very easy (at least not on a WiFi network), as the user manual isn't particularly explicit on the subject. I recommend consulting videos (e.g. Youtube: -l8C4XgelNs <How to connect your Epson printer to Wi-Fi (printers with a screen display)> ) for connecting to a WiFi network. Some computer knowledge (also about networks) is certainly a welcome help.
I don't have any experience of the longevity of consumables at the moment, so I'll have to wait and see.

We had replaced our Canon with this Epson - that was a mistake. Ink is extremely expensive to buy again.
The quality is definitely not good. Our Canon was 8 years old and still ahead in terms of quality, not to mention the very high price of cartridges. You could maintain an ink tank printer on that. Absolute cheek for a multifunctional home device. (Ink currently costs over CHF 100).
