purchased this productBest DAS solution I have seen on the market so far
very good. very fast data transfer. sensational beyond raid system (similar to raid 5) with the possibility to operate different sized hard drives. have 2x6tb and 3x4tb inside and a net capacity of c. 16tb. hangs with meon a micro-gen8 server in continuous operation for capacity expansion reasons.
tip: if transfer speed is not as high as it should be, just plug in the usb-c cable the other way round... initially only had 30mb write, since then about 140mb on average.Pro
- Mixing different hard disk sizes
- sturdily built
- Extremely easy to use
- huge capacity
Contra
- relatively expensive (but don't regret a cent)
- fan audible
- ghostrider

purchased this productGreat device, which only didn't deserve 5 stars because of the problems with the cables.
ATTENTION!
-> This unit was delivered to me ONLY with German and English power cables! Luckily I still had an adapter lying around.
-> The unit requires 2 hard drives to be installed before it can be uninstalled. Anydata already on the hard drives will be deleted.
Otherwise, I think it's great; finally no more 3-4 external hard drives + cable clutter and far less risk of losing this data.Pro
- Relatively quiet
- User-friendly
- Arbitrarily scalable up to 40TB
- Visually pretty, lights dimmable
Contra
- Incorrect power connection
- USB 3 cable is rather short
