Everything top, except the range in Europe
Currently by far the best drone on the market. With the appropriate adapter, an iPad can also be connected. In bright surroundings, the smartphone screen is particularly difficult to read. Quite stable even in windy conditions. Takes some getting used to: you have to tap to focus - if you forget to focus, the entire material is out of focus, but you only see it on the big screen. When operating outside the USA (GPS interrogation), the radio switches to CE power, which means that the range is dramatically less than generally advertised! Depending on the terrain, only 300-400 metres instead of 4-5 kilometres (!). This may seem insignificant at first, but in the mountains, for example, you quickly reach the limits.

Mavic, your friend and quadcopter
I have been flying my practice rounds in a park in zurich with the small mavic for several weeks now.
It's my first drone and a spontaneous order when I saw the first youtube video about it: saw it, bought it.
...and so far I haven't regretted it for a second!!!
The thing is very beginner-friendly, you can start flying quickly, the many options and features only open up with increasing use. The design of the drone, the usability and also the app are proof of the experience that dji has with drones (except for a few menu items in the app that are not quite intuitively nested - but you soon know them by heart). Also, one's own drone piloting skills and confidence in the drone are increasing: so far, the drone has not shown any inexplicable behaviour - and if it did, there was a reason for it (e.g. it is difficult to calibrate in the park on paths with ground lighting, because of the power).
outdoors it flies very stable with gps (there are several videos about it), indoors i have become cautious after some drift experiences - which can also be due to my skills :-D
The future will definitely bring smaller and better drones. For me it is here and now THE drone at all! Only the pictures of the p4 wow me more with their larger angle of view. But who likes to carry such a huge thing :-)
It's not a race or acrobatic drone - but for everyone who wants to buy a great portable drone with a lot of intelligence and not the best, but still very, very good camera features for flying and filming in this price segment: my fullest recommendation!Pro

Top drone, I've been flying it for 2 months and haven't had any problems yet.
The only pity is the rather poor video quality at 1080p. But 4k is great! best to downsample on the pc.
return to home on cm exactly! was already 2km away flown without problems, full signal. speed mode with 65kmh also goes quite off, cheers!Pro

The best drone I have ever tested, a total pleasure whether in tourism mode (shooting) or sport (speed and reaction)... I can't wait for the FPV goggles!
Best drone ever!
I've been flying it for 10 days now, and it's simply incredible: easy to handle, very precise, very stable... My first videos look like professional videos !
I've already tested all the modes (follow me, waypoint, Point Of Interest...), and it's really very efficient and easy to use.
The RTH (return to Home) mode is impressive: at 300m. from me it came back to land within a centimetre of its starting point without me touching the remote control once the RTH button was activated.
The fact that it can be folded and stored easily in a backpack is pure happiness; no more big bulky bags, the Mavic Pro follows me everywhere!Pro

Not only recommendable
I bought the bundle for just under 1500. For that I got a handy drone that is easy for me to fly.
Folded, it is easy to transport and quickly ready for take-off.
The 3 batteries supplied are enough for a total of 1 hour of flying fun. After that, not only the flight batteries are empty, but also the transmitter battery.
The drone can no longer be heard from a distance of 150 to 200 metres. From this distance, recognition in the air becomes difficult. However, the drone can be controlled easily via the mobile phone screen.
The many preset flight modes are easy to set and do what I expect.
Photos turn out well. Videos with 4K resolution were a stomachache at first. The cause was the standard video player on my PC, which has problems with 4K images. Switching to VLC solved the problem.
So far, so good. BUT the DJI Android software v4.1.3 is bad: The use of waypoints does not work and the mobile app crashes 2 to 3 times per flight. If you google, you will quickly find fellow sufferers who hope for a remedy by means of firmware and software updates. Given the high purchase price, I expected fewer software problems.
Update from 31.08.2017: Thanks to the firmware update, the waypoints now also work. Unfortunately, each flight battery also receives a firmware update. A battery update failed, the battery was only usable again after a weekend of googling and try & error. It's a shame when the product is good, but the software development makes every update a risk.Pro

Best investment in a long time
One thing in advance, I am completely thrilled.
The DJI Mavic Pro, which I bought from a digitec.ch competitor, simply knocks my socks off. For me, this drone is definitely proof that the Chinese are now also to be taken very seriously in the quality sector. The Mavic Pro impresses with its extremely solid and high-quality workmanship and with various features that are second to none in this segment. It compensates for wind very well, but in gusts it takes a little time to regain its original position. But that's understandable, since the situation (sudden wind) has to be recognised first in order to react. Otherwise, the drone stands as still as a rock in the air. No drifting away, no loss or gain of altitude. Nothing. GPS/GLONASS work accurately and reliably. The controls are very easy and quick to understand. And thanks to the forward and downward sensors, the risk of crashing is very minimal. As long as you fly forwards and not backwards into a tree... But even this, the drone survived without any problems. It didn't even crash, because it caught itself again before it made contact with the ground.
The camera and gimbal work very reliably and quietly. This makes it possible to take excellent pictures of nature and the surroundings. And thanks to the very compact size, it is not inconvenient to take the drone with you.
In sport mode, the drone shows its potent side. Top speeds of around 65 Km/h according to the built-in GPS are easy to achieve in calm conditions. But you have to be careful, because all sensors are deactivated in this mode.
All in all, I can only recommend the DJI Mavic Pro. It has given me a wonderful new hobby that I want to do every chance I get. For those who are still thinking about whether or not to buy one and have the money to spare, buy, buy, buy!Pro
