Super Drone made of "glass"
Criticism:
This thing doesn't forgive you for any mistake or you'll have instant damage, so never fly at the limit. In addition, the packaging including instructions and the "experience" is very modest, everything feels a little like a pre-release. The instructions are cheap as typical for China and also not really self-explanatory (we had 2 combos and both problems unlocking). The combo is not a Fly More, which means you don't have an extra bag or stowage option (not even a cheap soft case for the delicate goggle) and no extra battery either which is a real joke. The goggles also work for the sim only with the battery, you can't plug the thing directly into the PC or any other USB and run it. For manual mode you have to "manipulate" the controller with a screw, why not add a switch? In addition, the controller would have also deserved a C button (its function you can determine yourself) and a lock for the camera's rotating wheel, many beginners get involuntarily to the wheel and mess up the shot.
Praise:
Hardly is the thing in the air so it makes directly fun, flies for such a heavy part super and can provide for good shots, the emergency button does its thing well and works great. The control is good in the hand and can be used on PC / Mac (super!) The Sim is not a feast for the eyes but good training, maybe there is still an update or a version for the iPad / PC / OS (Alternatively uses Liftoff on Steam with the DJI FPV Drone).
Conclusion:
Expensive fun, as a DJI "fan" and FPV flyer I do not regret the purchase... but would have expected a little more love for the product. What bothers me the most is the missing Fly More Bundle with a bag and all the stuff what for example a Mavic 2 had. Price wise you get out pretty much the same with a classic FPV set, if DJI still brings accessories and more compatible drones it's worth buying through the goggle.
