    I own a Sony Z2 and have purchased this adaptor...

    I own a Sony Z2 and bought this adapter.
    I found out that it does not work, not because of the product, but because of my ignorance. I then researched on the Internet and discovered the following:
    SlimPort is supported,     for example, by LG Google Nexus 5 smartphones.
    A Sony Z2 or a Samsung Galaxy S4 can only output a video signal via an MHL adapter.It would be desirable if Digitec would point out that this SlimPort adapter is not compatible with all new smartphones.The description used by Digitec:
    The description used by Digitec: "Connection of the latest smartphones" is a little too vague here.As a lender, you then quickly buy the wrong product.

    What should also interest everyone are the differences between SlimPort and MHL.
    That's why I'm also writing this here.

    MHL works with a resolution of 720p @ 60Hz 1080i @ 30 Hz.
    And the adapter must be connected to the mains, otherwise nothing works.
    What I have read somewhere is that there are apparently TVs with MHL HDMI
    connections,where the power is then supplied by the TV itself.

    SlimPort works with a resolution of 1080i @ 60 Hz.
    And it also works when the adapter is not connected to the mains.

    Works with Nexus 5 but not with Samsung Alpha. Since you need umpteen adapters for the same functionality, I rate it 50/50, but that has more to do with the smartphone (device) manufacturer than with this adapter.

    Does not work with my Nexus6, although it la...

    Doesn't work with my Nexus6, although it supports Slimport according to internet research.
    But maybe it's the Nexus and not the adapter...

    Will be updated when there are new developments.
