Attention, Canon has no drivers for Mac OSX ...
Please note that Canon does not have drivers for Mac OSX 10.10 Yosemite. The printer can then only be used via USB connection. Printing via WiFi is no longer possible. Canon support seems to see no need to provide a corresponding driver.
An excellent device that I can only recommend to everyone.
An excellent machine that I can only recommend to everyone. It prints full-size postcards in just 50.7 seconds, with brilliant colour fidelity and perfect photo quality. The 4-colour thermal printing process and the extremely easy change of paper and ink cartridge ensure that the printer has an extremely long service life. The ink cartridges cannot dry out and therefore the printer is also extremely suitable for low volume printers. I have already printed over 700 photos with the printer since March 2014 and am extremely satisfied.

The device was purchased for occasional photo printing at home.
Once you have read through the assembly instructions, setting up and commissioning is relatively easy. Less tech-savvy users may have to study the instructions more often until they understand what needs to be done where and how.
Setting up the printer itself (via menu) and the WLAN was done in no time.
Printing from a PC works very well and is just as easy as printing any other document on a printer.
The image quality is self-explanatory and does not come close to that of a photo developed in the lab, but it is still respectable.
We have not yet printed a picture from a smartphone, but with the downloaded app (App Store or Google Play) this also seems to be a simple matter.
Regarding the colour fidelity, as "freumich36" wrote, I cannot make a statement myself, but my partner said that one of the pictures had a yellow cast, although it did not have this on the monitor. I have to say that the monitor is not calibrated on the hardware side. In addition, one has to pay attention to the colour profile used in the image processing programme and in the printer.

On the whole a good printer, the quality of the prints is good. The only complaint is the colour fidelity (always had a slight yellow cast), regardless of whether via WLAN or directly on the SD card. But that could also be due to the colour film, let's see what the next cartridge is like. Wi-Fi works well with APP, but is a little slow when transferring 36MP images.

Great thing, handy device, prints in good quality, pictures almost like from the photo lab. Compared to an inkjet printer, I find the handling better. Colour fastness good. Image can be corrected on the PC beforehand, image section can still be adjusted in the printer. No ink, thermal printing method, nothing dries out after a long period of non-use.
Photo quality good, device quality poor
I'm really disappointed in Canon. I already owned the previous model. Now, after almost 4 years, the device just gives up the ghost or can no longer be started.
If this is Canon's strategy, I will buy a device from another company next time.

Useless scrap!
Canon does not supply 64-bit printer drivers for this printer series and has also openly declared that it will no longer supply any, i.e. on 64-bit systems (Mac OS, Linux and Windows 7 (64-bit version), Windows 8, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10) the printer is already obsolete and unusable even before it leaves the shop! I find it an impertinence that something like this is still being sold at all without any indication of the poison class (i.e.: a huge warning that the printer can only be used on obsolete 32-bit systems)!

Worked fine at first, could print without problems.
After an app update, I could no longer print from the mobile phone because it could not find the printer, it took a long time until it worked again.
Printing from the SD card is flawless.

With a corresponding app, you can create and print collages yourself.
Unfortunately, the border is then cut off by approx. 4mm on all sides. But in a pinch, you can also use the collage printing tool from the printer! Everything fits there and looks great!
I have been printing postcards myself for years, but with the new model they look simply brilliant!Only useful in individual cases, as a "normal-sized" printer can easily perform the same functions in the same quality. Otherwise, a recommendable product.
All in all, very good, high-quality appliance.

Used at a family event, the idea, printing process and quality delighted and entertained. More convenient and better than the earlier Polaroid photos, which cost many times more than the Selphy solution.

Good product, but I have not found a programme to create photo collages on the PC and print them directly from the PC. The support team at digitec couldn't help me here either. The diversions via the memory card is too tedious for me in the long run. How do you print your pictures?
