    a strong one

Happy owner of the kann alpha, I am delighted!

I use it daily on the road with Fiio FH5 IEMs (16ohm with 4.4mm balanced cable) and at home on a DT1990pro (250ohm) and in both cases the sound is sumptuous, well separated,
with a high level of detail and instruments that sound right.
The highs are crystalline without being aggressive, the bass is discreet but sinful, the bass is energetic without overflowing on the neighbor, it is a very balanced DAP on the frequency ranges with an excellent amplification.
With an analytical headphone like the DT1990pro it is pure happiness: it is very impressive, the sound is both clear and powerful even on the intermediate gain, and it generates silly smiles.

It has several bluetooth codecs available, and it's a piece of cake to get the sound out on the living room amp in almost maximum quality (LDAC 24bit).
The interface is a bit basic with a minimum of settings and frills, but it does its one job effectively: rendering music without compromise.

    In short, a nice surprise!
