Raise3D Industrial PPA CF Filament is a carbon fiber reinforced composite filament material based on PPA (polyphthalamide or high-performance/high-temperature nylon). Thanks to its high-performance nylon matrix, this composite filament exhibits excellent mechanical and thermal properties compared to other nylon filaments.

Due to the well-controlled dispersion and length distribution of the cut carbon fibers (15 wt.%), PPA CF has a lower density, reduced moisture absorption, high strength and stiffness, excellent wear and creep resistance, as well as outstanding chemical and heat resistance. It shows promise for end applications in the automotive, aerospace, and electrical and electronics (E&E) industries.

Printing parameters:

• Nozzle temperature: 290°C - 310°C
• Print bed temperature: 65°C - 80°C
• Layer thickness: 0.1 mm - 0.25 mm
• Print speed: 30 mm/s - 120 mm/s
• Fan: off
• Drying temperature: 80°C - 110°C for 4 - 6 hours

Printing notes:
When printing with PPA CF, nozzle wear is often observed. The use of wear-resistant nozzles, such as hardened steel nozzles or higher quality nozzles, is strongly recommended. After printing, it is advisable to temper the model with the support material in an oven at 80-100 °C for 8 to 12 hours to improve mechanical properties and dimensional accuracy.
