What is Rock Pi4? The Rock Pi4B+ is a single-board computer (SBC) in an ultra-small form factor that offers top-notch performance while providing excellent mechanical compatibility. The Rock Pi4B+ provides makers, IoT enthusiasts, hobbyists, PC DIY enthusiasts, and others with a reliable and highly powerful platform to bring their ideas to life.
Top-notch performance. The Rock Pi4B+ features a modern and powerful hexacore ARM-based processor, RK3399 (OP1), which delivers significantly improved performance compared to other common SBC boards. The 4B+ is equipped with LPDDR4 3200Mb/s RAM and optional high-performance eMMC modules that support all applications.
Manufacturer-friendly, IoT connectivity. The Rock Pi4B+ offers manufacturer-friendly expansion options, including a 40-pin GPIO interface that allows for connections to a variety of inputs from buttons, switches, sensors, LEDs, and much more. The Rock Pi4B+ also includes a Gigabit LAN port for networking, with a dedicated bus and controller, operating without latency under heavy loads. Additionally, the Rock Pi4B+ features a USB 3.0 host and a USB 3.0 OTG port, each capable of 5Gbps/s, which operate independently. The USB 3.0 OTG can be used as a USB device such as Android ADB or USB gadgets. A hardware switch is provided for the OTG mode switch on the bottom.
AI capabilities. The Rock Pi4B+ supports the mainstream AI stack with GPU acceleration. The industry-standard MIPI CSI connector allows for easy connection of existing cameras to the Rock Pi4B+. Furthermore, the Rock Pi4B+ also supports the industry-standard MIPI DSI for LCD and touchscreen. With hardware-accelerated algorithms, it is ideal for computer vision applications, robotics, and much more.
