I need the H6 for separate audio recording alongside the video. But since I record video in the camera - so no Shogun or other recorder - I can't say directly. From my point of view, however, it is worth having a separate audio track that can then be easily synchronised again. You'll have to find out for yourself whether the Shogun provides this.

yes exactly 6 miks. 4 on the side and two with an adapter on top... you can put a raound mik on top of the part for room sound. if you have an air system that has an xlr connection (professional range) then you can record via radio... but bluetooth i don't think so. it wasn't designed for that as far as i know... but otherwise perfect toool. i got 2 miks, cross and round.... then bought the stabmik to go with it. looking for xlr recording systems via wireless.... the prof name has slipped my mind, how do you say it, when the sound is radioed directly from the cam to the recording device... have fun with it... it's a really great thing... display lights up when it is recording etc... adjust.... great...
