I use the Zoom H6 (black, software version 2.6) as an audio interface to a macbook, mac os. 14.3 with logic pro x.

I connect 2 microphones and want to record in multi track mode. The signal from the microphones is transmitted, but is completely distorted and barely intelligible.

If I record in stereo mix mode, no problem.

But I need the two tracks separately.

If I record two separate tracks on the SD card in zoom, without a laptop, it also works well.

Only audiointerface in multi track mode causes problems.

Does anyone have an idea? Merci!!!

I did exactly the same thing but with garageband. If I had to decide, I would say you have a hardware defect :/
