This amplifier has no subwoofer output. However, you can control a SW via the line out. It's a bit messy, but it works. Or you can feed in another amplifier.... Here is an article that brings you a little closer to the topic: https://heimkinofan.de/wie-man-einen-subwoofer-an-einen-stereo-verstaerker-anschliesst-eine-schritt-fuer-schritt-anleitung/
I only had it for a short time and was not satisfied.

The bass can be adjusted via the remote control. The remote control allows you to adjust the bass, treble and balance, whereby the bass can be adjusted independently from -10 dB to +10 dB. The bass and treble are controlled via buttons on the remote control, not via rotary controls.
Automatically generated from the .With the Yamaha hs7 speakers you no longer need another amplifier, so add a DAB+ receiver and then it works, at most a switch or preamplifier so that you can select the sources. Yours sincerely, Gian

The "R-S202dab (Receiver)" device from Yamaha has a Bluetooth connection, but this is only used to receive audio signals from Bluetooth-enabled devices, not to operate Bluetooth headphones. However, there is a full-size (1/4") headphone connection on the front of the device for operating headphones.
Automatically generated from the .Hi Peter, Bluetooth only has a maximum range of 10 metres (line of sight) and is not suitable for penetrating walls. However, there are wireless systems for audio that can do this. Greetings Thomas

Hello, your old RX-470 already seems to have an integrated amplifier, and you also have another amplifier that is certainly also good and powerful. This means that you "only" need modern DAB+ reception. A pure DAB tuner without an integrated amplifier is sufficient for this. The R-S202DAB is o.k. for this, but somewhat modest in terms of DAB functions (limited ability to store stations etc. see the other reviews). My suggestion: Buy a well-equipped tuner with additional functions, e.g. the: Renkforce RF-DAB-IR 1700 HiFi tuner DAB+, FM, Internet radio, Bluetooth, WLAN DLNA-capable. Renkforce RF-DAB-IR 1700 HiFi tuner DAB+, FM, Internet radio, Bluetooth, WLAN DLNA-capable (DAB+, FM, Bluetooth, WLAN)

In my opinion, this would work if the mobile is paired with the receiver via Bluetooth... (https://ch.yamaha.com/de/products/audio_visual/hifi_components/r-s202d/index.html) quote: Bluetooth® compatible for wireless music streaming - The R-S202D is equipped with Bluetooth - so you can easily play music wirelessly from your smartphone and other devices. Select tracks directly from your smartphone and play them through your complete audio system.

YES a DAB antenna is included in the scope of delivery.
Yes, BT can be coupled
According to the Yamaha manual, when connecting speaker A or speaker B, 8 ohms or higher is required. When connecting speaker A and speaker B, 16 ohms or higher is required.
How is the receiver set up? Does it have enough space for cooling? -> Overheating problem with long running time. Should also be shown on the display, but probably only before the unit switches off. Is the time always the same until the unit switches off? I would check this once. If it always switches off after the same time, this may well be a fault. Some internal timer... Otherwise, I would contact Yamaha. Here is something else I found. However, it concerns a different device, but perhaps this option is also available with this receiver: https://usa.yamaha.com/support/faq/audio_visual/7632.html
Any device that emits a normal AF analogue signal (such as a CD player or tuner) can be connected to it.
the device has various interfaces - e.g. jack
Opinions are divided on this question. My opinion: If you don't listen louder than upscale room volume, you can care less about the wattage rating of normal speakers and amplifiers. If the amplifier is too weak and has to go beyond its power limit to apply the minimum power for that speaker, you will hear digital distortion even at moderately loud levels, which is especially noticeable in high tones. It is included and long enough. Reception flawless. I have had the device for 4 years and can highly recommend it.
What kind of earth cable?
Hello Haraldbader Looks like "threading" to me (see picture 2). The device manual also suggests stripping to thread in: https://static.digitecgalaxus.ch/Files/5/9/2/8/2/7/2/web_ZU46040_R-S202_R-S202D_om_CRBGL_EnFrEs.pdf --> see page 10 I don't think there are any adapters for these clip fasteners, as they are designed for stripped cables. However, you could of course cut off the banana plugs on your speakers, strip the cable and "thread"/clip it to this AVR.
If you want to connect a pair of shelf speakers with 75W each, then you don't need a power amplifier with the receiver. However, if you are an audiophile, this receiver will probably not give you enough sound quality.
The R-S202DAB receiver has no subwoofer output. Nor does it have any line output connections marked "PRE OUT". are marked. Therefore, it is not possible to connect a subwoofer.
Yamaha R-S202DAB is with CH connector. For the use of the normal 75 Ohm antenna cable, an antenna adapter F-male to coaxial (female) coupling must be purchased (available at Digitec). For DAB reception, an appropriate antenna cable is supplied. F-male to coaxial coupling (0.02m)
