Question about Yamaha R-S202dab

The unit is used with the radio function. Unfortunately, the unit switches off automatically after approx. 7 hours of operation. After restarting, the radio runs perfectly. At first we thought that the sleep function was switched on, but it was not. Is there another function that switches the radio off or is it a fault and the radio has to be returned?

Helpful answer

How is the receiver set up? Does it have enough space for cooling?
-> Overheating problem with long running time. Should also be shown on the display, but probably only before the unit switches off.

Is the time always the same until the unit switches off? I would check this once. If it always switches off after the same time, this may well be a fault. Some internal timer...

Otherwise, I would contact Yamaha.

Here is something else I found. However, it concerns a different device, but perhaps this option is also available with this receiver:

Hello Vrenihampi. It is as Anonymous has already suspected, the unit is set at the factory to switch off after 8 hours. You can find the information in the manual on page 30: https://static.digitecgalaxus.ch/Files...
The function is called Auto Power Standby and can be changed or deactivated as described in the manual.
