Hello, I also had this problem. There are various possible errors. Restart your Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 and the modem. I would disconnect the modem from the power supply for at least 10 seconds. You can also reset the network of the Redmi in the settings. Good luck

Yes, a soft, transparent protective cover/case is included in the delivery. But it only protects the back and sides, and whether it is thick enough to protect the phone in the event of a real fall is something I wouldn't necessarily try out now - but it's enough for now. You can find pictures of it in many reviews and unboxings on mobile phone sites or youtube ;)

The workmanship should actually be equally good in both. But the Redmi Note 7 is better than the Mi 8 Lite in the following points: 4000 mAh battery, 48MP camera, Quick Charge 4.0 (and 3.5mm jack :D). Besides, the Mi 8 Lite is "already" half a year on the market and already dropped in price.... The Redmi Note 7 will probably also go down to 220-250 Fr. this year.
