Is it normal that the batteries get quite warm; almost hot?

This can happen during a charging process (independent of the device) and does not necessarily indicate a defect. However, as soon as the batteries or the charger become really hot, please contact our customer service, if you have ordered it through us.

I put 3 AA batteries in the charger from left to right. But it only displays 2. Does it then only charge 2 batteries? Is the charger defective?

You can only charge two or four batteries, but not one or three.

I put the charger into operation today. After 10 hours of charging, the blue LEDs are still on. Should only last a maximum of 8 hours. Do the lights go out at all.

Switch-off yes or no? The description says that there is a "safety cut-off", but the reviews criticise the lack of one. Please ask Digitec for clarification: is the charging function stopped when the batteries are full, yes or no?

For me, the indicator lights up blue when charging. After some time, when the charging is finished, the indicator stops glowing. I suspect this is the switch-off, but no guarantee.
