Hello, it would not be of any interest the loss in image quality will be enormous because it is not a focal that opens between f0 and f4 with a zoom lens that opens to f6.3 I strongly advise against it. On the internet you can see which lenses the rings fit. Generally on x1.4 you keep the auto focus but x2 with an f6.3 you will be in manual. Otherwise it's a nice lens to start with.

The lens still costs 1099 at Digitec: Tamron SP AF 150-600mm f/5-6.3 Di VC USD G2, Canon EF
The moon price is as usual from daswarenhaus.ch. Just look closely here in the shop. Digitec gives usury shops the right of hospitality.

Good day
There are different possibilities. Should it be a tripod or a monopod? What will the lens be used for? Wildlife with sitting? Sports?
For wildlife, a monopod may be more practical than a tripod, depending. For tripods, I would choose one of the more stable variety, e.g. this one
Benro Mach3 TMA38CL Mach3 Carbon Tripod (Carbon)
