SteelSeries Arctis 3 2019 Edition
Cable
The price difference is due to our purchasing conditions, as we procure both models at different prices. However, the main error here is in the black model, the Arctis 3 does not have Bluetooth capability https://steelseries.com/gaming-headsets/arctis-3 Thank you for the advice, we will have this adjusted.
I bought this item for a grandchild - I can't give any more details about it
It has no delay but it is uncomfortable....
Works perfectly for me (macOS). I don't work with Zoom but I'm sure there is a microphone setting there.
Hello.. So I use cables like this: Cordial CFS 3 WY jack extension (3m, midrange, 3.5mm jack) There are also cheaper ones, but I don't know how they are or if they work well: Lindy jack extension (2m, Entry, 3.5mm jack) Kind regards
This is a false statement. Contact Digitec. The headphones do not have ANC (Active Noise Cancellation). Only the microphone has a technology that filters ambient noise during recording, which the manufacturer calls Acoustic Noise Cancellation, hence the confusion.
Das Headset bekam kleinere Upgrades, siehe hier: https://www.reddit.com/r/steelseries/comments/bz0xt7/arctis_3_vs_arctis_3_2019_whats_the_difference/ "I owned both: ear cups are stuffier (so you don't touch the speakers with your ears if you have a big head), the cables are two (one cable one splitter) instead of one with two modular parts, the plastic in the ear cup junction is lightly reinforced, the sky-goggle band is all black and more durable. Last but not least, the speaker have been fine tuned for the best result with the "Windows Sonic for Headphones" audio mode in both Windows and Xbox One."
Unfortunately, the Digitec team has a hard time adjusting the description text. You can only use the headphones wirelessly to listen to music on your mobile phone. On the PC or XBox only with 3.5mm cable, a Bluetooth dongle unfortunately does not work, I tried it, the quality was lousy. Unless your device supports the AptX codec (there is one from Sennheiser, very expensive). But even then, only for listening, without using the microphone. You need the Arctis 7 Wireless, which is unfortunately a bit more expensive. Tip: compare on Toppreise.ch. If you want wireless + Bluetooth, you need the Wireless Pro.
There is no USB in that comes with this headset. You get a dual 3.5mm and a 4-Pole 3.5mm.
From what I have been told by friends, they hear me well and clearly! But the mic has to be very close to the mouth, even with high sensitivity. In addition, it is too quiet for me... The software available for download does not work via AUX or USB ... (last try approx. 2 months ago, maybe an update is available...) Noise cancelling is good but I know better headsets for a bit more money. For the price, "the device" is quite ok but only ok.
Yes, it has a battery. I can listen to music via Bluetooth for about 16 hours or more with the phone.
Unfortunately, an adapter is not included in the scope of delivery. It would have to be ordered separately.
Yes, you can connect it to the PC via Bluetooth and play games with it. I guess the quality is good but I can't tell you exactly because we couldn't test the headset.
Thanks for the info!
