Hello Minimee1, the filters are necessary so that OSKAR can humidify the room air - without filter mats, no water evaporates, i.e. no moisture gets into the air.

Hello Pfleghaar,

Hello s.hirzel. Thank you for your message. The floss is not available as a spare part, but you can easily replace it yourself. To do this, you can take a conventional cotton pad, cut it to size and then place it in the fragrance cassette. You can then drip your favourite fragrance onto it again. If you have any further questions, you can also contact us directly either by email at service@stadlerform.com or by phone on 041 720 48 48. Best regards, your Stadler Form team
The filters should be changed approx. every 2-3 months. The silver cube should also be replaced once a year and it also makes sense to clean/descale it from time to time... 😁 The humidity is not displayed. However, it is measured and Oskar switches off automatically when this is reached.
However, this should not actually be the case. The unit has 2 levels, the fan is naturally louder on the high level, but the low level on our unit is so quiet that it is not a problem even in the bedroom. The loud motor noise may be a warranty issue; I would contact Stadler customer service about this.
So for me, in the morning after airing, the humidity is approx. 35%, if I let the humidifier run all day, it is 55 to 60% in the evening when I go to bed, room approx. 3mx2.5m with sloping roof and wooden panelling.
Does the Oskar run when it is set to continuous operation? If not, there is probably something wrong with the motor. Otherwise, it's probably the humidity sensor. Do you still have a warranty?
I actually had this once and was able to fix it with a few gentle strokes (no joke). I think something slipped out of the socket or something similar.
Maybe you can also try to "fix" the fan again with something narrow (e.g. a pencil). Otherwise, check if there are any spare parts, as they should be relatively easy to replace.
If you still have a guarantee, send it in, if not, I would control the thing with a cheap timer; if you want to test whether the hygrostat is working properly,
Put it outdoors, check the humidity on a weather station on the Internet, the unit should switch on at some point. Greetings
No, because the mains cable (with Euro plug) is permanently connected to the unit and cannot be replaced by the user. This can also be seen in the operating instructions or here in the videos about the product.
The cartridges should be changed every 3 months. Since we only need the humidifier from Nov-Feb, I always keep them in for a season. The cube is responsible for destroying bacteria in the water and, as far as I know, does not need to be changed.
in my case the filters turn brownish after 2-3 months. then they have to be replaced. but already after 1.5 weeks? no idea. maybe the construction plays a role? Is it a wooden construction? I run mine in a "normal" housing development, parquet floor, walls plastered concrete or brick, ceiling painted concrete. Works wonderfully for me. I would call Stadler.
