The reviews state: "Volume of the alarm tone cannot be adjusted. Starts quietly and increases to maximum volume. Unusable" Is this really true? In the operating instructions on page 3, point 6, it says that the volume of the alarm tone can be adjusted! What is true? Thank you for authoritative information.

I enquired directly with Soundmaster (WÖRLEIN GMBH) and received the following POSTIVE reply yesterday: "The matter has already been corrected with a software update with the next production. It is now possible to set a maximum alarm volume. The alarm tone / music then increases from quiet to the set volume and no further." This definitely solves the issue and for me the device has everything it needs, including DAB+

I wonder if this is a DAB radio or not? The radio reception simply says FM.... - I can't figure it out.

Hi Bandis This is a clock radio. This can only access the old frequencies (FM). NO DAB! I also recommend something other than an alarm clock if you want to listen to the radio normally. Because the sound quality of an alarm clock is usually not that good.
