Hello You don't necessarily have to use one from Sony. You can simply get a universal power supply. That works too.

I find this Sony device good and practical, but I only use it to listen to the radio. The sound is rather weak. I don't have much experience with battery operation, but I notice that the "power juice" decreases faster than expected.
