"The situation at my dealer" is the same as for everyone else in the world. According to your comment, you obviously already know what the situation is. Now you want another employee to "bitti-bätti" you so that your ego is satisfied?
According to the WOG newsletter, another delivery will probably arrive in March. However, it is not yet possible to say when you can/will be allowed to open the pre-orders. Unfortunately, I cannot contribute more to this topic at the moment.
Yep. Will avoid Digitec for pre-orders for the rest of my life. Same shit with the Pulse 3D headset. Was shown as available. After ordering as delivery status -> no details. Customer service rep then tells me they have 800 more orders than actual stock. HOW hard can it be to only allow the quantity that is actually available? A cheek!
CONFIRMED! Ordered today at FUST.ch...delivered tomorrow by 9am! I just got the mail from FUST that my Ps5 is on its way. I wanted a digital edition, but now I ordered the disc edition for 499,-. And lo and behold...it will be delivered tomorrow. I don't want to say anything but Digitec...for what you have done to us PRE-orderers, no excuse is good enough. All I could do is cancel the entire order including equipment "for free"...and I have just done that. Thanks Fust.ch:*
I got the email on Friday that I can't be included in the first delivery.
Everything is okay, no problem.... these are not tears, I'm just allergic. No, I'm just kidding.
How is it now with the subsequent delivery? Sony has announced that you, as a dealer/supplier, will receive another delivery - we will apparently find out more in the course of this week (week 39).
Is that supposed to mean that we would possibly receive the delivery on 19.11. anyway? Do you already know something?
I agree with the question posed by "DaveWürsten". It would be about time to make a statement. It really can't be that another 50,000 customers in Germany and Austria have now been informed when their PS5, which was ordered between 1 and 30 November, will be delivered. This will even happen this year for some. I have no problem with waiting, but I want to be treated fairly and honestly as a customer. This includes transparent communication.
So I kindly ask you to inform all customers who still have a PS5 order open about the current status.
"Mirror, mirror on the wall: who do you think still has Playstation 5s in this country?"
"Dear Digitec customer, the stocks must have gone down the drain at your supplier, because communication would be very necessary.
It would be great to get a message about the current status again.
Even if some users write again: You can look in the media. It's not about the situation of the PS5 in the European market, but about the status at my dealer. A: Dear customer, unfortunately we still don't have any information about the status of your order. We hope to be able to give you more information by the end of the month.
No news, no prospect of improvement. I think Digitec's online shop is the best there is, but this time you fucked up badly. Everyone can live with waiting times as long as you have a certain date to look forward to. This is like looking forward to Christmas on 19.11. and Father Christmas a month later still doesn't know if he wants to bring his presents. No one believes you that the supplier, a global corporation, simply gives zero information. Give out a list with numbers of where you are or whatever. but do something for God's sake! If I were as careless in my job as you are with the information, I wouldn't need a PS5 because I would be very unemployed and couldn't afford it.
Yeah, where's your PS5?
The fact that there are not significantly more goods has a number of reasons that can only be blamed to a limited extent on the manufacturer and certainly not on the retailers, who in turn are confronted with angry customer reactions. Decisive factors are a glaring chip and component shortage, an enormous global demand for consumer electronics and exploding freight costs between Asia and Europe due to the pandemic.
For example, shipping a container from China to Germany cost $1,500 just a few months ago, but now it costs $5,000. Experts believe that even five-digit tariffs are possible. In addition, containers are in short supply: in some cases, companies have to wait months for free capacities.
Not only console manufacturers are affected by this: The production and delivery of cars, refrigerators and smartphones is also crippled, and in some sectors the assembly lines are at a standstill.
The sell-outs are simply the result of high demand and limited supply. Digitec Galaxus can't do much about that. You just have to be patient.

When did you pre-order the PS5? Date? If on 17.09. at night, then you would have had a great chance of getting one. I was in the shop early in the morning on 17.09. (approx. 8.00 a.m.) and pre-ordered one, unfortunately I was a few minutes too late, because on 18.09. Digitec sent me an email saying that I was not in the first wave.
Your colleague was just lucky, a few companies were still supplied but it's like playing the lottery, good luck with it.... Digitec can't be blamed for anything...
