According to Sony, the converter is designed for full-frame lenses.
The lens must also have a corresponding recess as the entire black part is sunk into it. Lenses that are flat on the bayonet are not compatible.

Is not compatible. Only fits some GM telezooms and superteles and the 200-600 G. There is no teleconverter for E-mount for Tamron and Sigma lenses.

Yes, it is compatible. However, you then have aperture 13 and the AF is only fast on the Alpha 9 and 9II.

Yes, the converter fits the A6400. But only for the lenses 70-200mm GM, 100-400mm, 400mm 2.8 and 600mm 4.
