Questions about Sompex Pin

I have replaced the built-in dimmer with a constant current source. (CCS2-450-HV48 available on ebay). However, the installation requires a basic knowledge of electronics or should be done by a professional. Dimming or on/off via a switch on the lamp is no longer possible, but could also be realised with an Arduino, for example.

Unfortunately, all indications are that we will no longer be able to obtain this specific reference from our suppliers. We are very sorry about this. :(

Unfortunately, the supplier has informed us that there is no possibility of an extension from your side. The luminaire would have to be customised with the help of an electrical engineer. However, this would also invalidate any warranty claim.

The lamp cannot be rotated in the base, but the base is relatively small, so it is not a problem to align it against the corner.

we use the lamp for indirect lighting in a corner, the individual beams are not visible (illumination is as shown in the 6th picture). The lamp is quite bright at the highest level. For our purpose, the brightness is sufficient; in a larger room, the lamp is probably not enough as the only light source.

The lamp is great, I am thrilled! But at first I couldn't find the button to switch it on, it's on the top of the pin - hardly visible. The lamp is vertical and can be tilted, I don't know the angle, about 10 cm. I can't test it right now, sorry!
