Is there a way to operate the lamp from a switched socket? Unfortunately, the lamp keeps switching off.

I have replaced the built-in dimmer with a constant current source.
(CCS2-450-HV48 available on ebay).
However, the installation requires a basic knowledge of electronics or should be done by a professional.
Dimming or on/off via a switch on the lamp is no longer possible, but could also be realised with an Arduino, for example.
