It has been delivered without batteries. Rechargeable batteries can be inserted. Size 6 pieces UM-1. IMPORTANT: Set the NiMH/alkaline switch to NiMH position. Our radio is in a cowshed and we are satisfied.

it needs 6 batteries. there are extra rechargeable batteries that recharge when the radio is plugged in. would recommend these, so you only have to buy batteries once.

The batteries can remain in the radio. They are charged as soon as it is plugged into the mains.
