I checked it briefly with Google. From my point of view, I didn't notice any differences, except that the 954 seems to be newer. It's even currently only available for pre-order on Samsung.com.
The Samsung Odyssey G9 - G95C monitor is compatible with the PS5, but with certain limitations.
- The monitor has HDMI ports that are compatible with the PS5, allowing connection.
- However, the PS5 doesn't support ultrawide screens with an aspect ratio of 32:9, which means you'd have black bars on the sides of the screen or the image would be stretched.
In short, although the monitor works with the PS5, it can't fully exploit the console's capabilities due to its ultrawide aspect ratio.
Yes, you can hang the Samsung Odyssey G9 - G95C monitor on the wall or on metal trestles, provided you use the appropriate accessories.
- The monitor is compatible with VESA 100x100 mounts, which means you can install it on a wall mount or monitor arm designed for this VESA standard.
- Make sure you choose a stand or monitor arm capable of supporting the weight of the monitor, which is generally around 20 kg for this model.
It is important to follow the manufacturer's instructions and check that all the necessary components, such as screws and washers, are correctly fitted for a secure installation.
The screen is also comfortable to work on. Just like 2 screens next to each other without a centre bar... several windows next to each other are also no problem
Hello Michael
The foot is basically a pentagon; is 30cm wide at the front (at the user). It extends outwards on both sides by approx. 5° on each side and 22cm to the rear. The two rear sides are 20cm long and meet behind the pillar in the point.
The widest point for me is 37cm and the deepest point is 30cm. At the front (at the user) the edge is slightly concave, i.e. slightly curved along the screen.
(I would have liked to add a picture with the dimensions, but I don't think I can).
Best regards
Stephan
Unfortunately, we have no experience of this ourselves. However, we recommend that you ask such a question as a discussion, as experience has shown that more customers respond there than to a single question.
