Samsung LC49RG90SSRXEN
5120 x 1440 pixels, 49"
Currently completely overpriced at CHF 1,419.
Was on sale some time ago for 1099.- ;).
Hello, I have this screen. I am very satisfied with it. Attention regarding your concern: the screen is heavy! I would not mount two of them on the same bracket. Then rather both separately with the enclosed wall mount. Another note: I have an Nvidia RTX 2080 graphics card with it: it runs at the highest possible settings with graphics-intensive games almost under full load, enormous heat development with one screen. So be careful with two!
even 1099.- in the meantime .... I bet 999.- for Black Friday or Cyber Monday... then they could brag about -30%... the FHD/144hrz version was yesterday for 750.-...
I have one, just have to look for it quickly ;-) Please write to me at kosmo.morgana@gmail.com
Digitec doesn't seem to have it in stock anymore but would sell it for 1227 at the moment. What you see here is an offer from another seller. And yes, 1800 is quite a lot for this screen, especially since the new model will be released sometime this summer.
I quickly tested it, it works, but I could only choose 60hz @ 5120x1440. I tested it with the MacBook Pro 15" (2016, Touchbar, Radeon Pro 460), connection via DisplayPort.
I got the LC49RG90SSUXEN at Blackfriday (I hope you can still say that... :-D) for 900.-. I think it was normally around 1500. Seen like this, the LC49RG90SSUXEN is a bit cheaper than 6 months ago... ;-) I am very satisfied with this monitor. Still brings a breeeiiiiite smile to my face ;-) I would compare it with the C49RG94SSU. Take your time and if you come to the conclusion that you don't need the extras, then save yourself the almost 300. Honestly, if you're coming from a "normal" monitor, the changeover will be awesome anyway.... I would give it a month (or 2) and wait and see. The chance that it will be cheaper is relatively high. Digitec has been screwing around with the prices a lot lately (rather upwards). There is usually something going on with "actions"... ;-) Ah yes and don't forget! If you get this monitor, you'll also need a bigger desk! I have extended my desk top by about 30cm (it is now 105cm deep). Good luck and may the Digitec price gods not mock you!
I use the panel with Freesync Ultimate (adjustable in the OSD) together with the 2080Ti. I have reduced the brightness to 30-50%. The panel is really very bright. Tomshardware writes the following about it: "Response is on par with the best gaming displays we've tested. There is no lag and blur is minimal. The overdrive function is fixed in the on position when FreeSync is active and does not create any ghosting. The effect is a little conservative, though. When we moved the mouse fast enough, we saw a tiny bit of judder in high contrast areas. But with adaptive refresh down to 36 Hz, we didn't see a single crack, even at maximum detail."
Above the "Shopping Cart" button it says "Offer from DasWarenhausch", the price of 1800 does not come from Digitec but from another dealer who sells through Digitec. Digitec itself still offers the screen for 1200, but without a delivery date. Normally, the cheapest offer is always shown automatically, but if a more expensive offer is available sooner, it will be shown. If you scroll down a bit, you will see the title "All suppliers" on the left, click on "Show more" and all offers will be displayed. There you can also select the Digitec offer and look at the availability details, there is no delivery date for postal delivery, but individual branches still have 1 item in stock for 1200.
Supplementary, the feet are 2cm wide at the end.
Yes it is, if the input comes via its own signal.
It's even worse, they actually use the term OLED when referring to this item on the homepage.
Short answer: Yes - https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/news/g-sync-ces-2019-announcements/
The monitor is nice, one of my colleagues has this monitor. He uses a GTX 1080 Ti and can do everything on the maximum graphics settings :)
Hi, I haven't seen the exact specs, but on my model it looks like it has 5 or 6 horizontal local dimming zones. Not enough for HDR in my opinion, but great if you have black frames on the left and right because 32:8 is not supported.
Purely the screen (i.e. what can shine xD) is just under 340mm with frame just under 370mm. At about medium height I have approx. 440mm incl. stand (but can go further down/higher).
If we refer to the EAN code of the product (8801643628314), it should be the following model: https://www.samsung.com/uk/business/monitors/monitor-crg90/lc49rg90ssuxen/ We found this information: "Power Consumption 100 W".
