Samsung HDMI adapter MHL 3.0
Samsung HDMI adapter MHL 3.0
No, unfortunately the adapters no longer work from the S6 series onwards.
I bought it for my SM-T700. It should work with the same connection.

The information on Samsung's website is well hidden, but actually clear: http://www.samsung.com/de/consumer/mobile-devices/tablets/galaxy-tab-s/SM-T810NZDEDBT/ http://www.samsung.com/de/consumer/mobile-devices/tablets/galaxy-tab-s/SM-T813NZKEDBT/
This item should be compatible with your tablet.
Unfortunately, this item is not compatible with the tablet mentioned and we do not have any other similar compatible product.
I use it with a Samsung tablet 10.5 and it works perfectly, but it does not work with the Galaxy S5 Mini smartphone because it is not MHL-capable. According to the manufacturer, the device must have a micro USB output and be MHL-capable, which is what the adapter responds to.
On a Samsung S6 the Samsung HDMI-Adapter MHL 3.0 does not work because this phone is no longer compatible with the MHL standard. In the specifications of the Samsung S6 it says "MHL: No". You have to look at the specifications of the Samsung S6 Edge. Since both phones are running on Android 5, I think the answer will be no. I tried a direct wifi solution. But there is a problem there too. The existing systems are designed for Android 4 and do not recognize Samsung S6 running on Android 5. The only existing solution apparently is the Chromecast dongle but it requires wifi. So Samsung screwed up by removing the MHL standard on the Samsung S6.
