Samsung HDMI adapter MHL 3.0
asusu vivotab 8 with micro usb, and would like to connect it to a monitor with the cable here, and then work on the monitor that goes, plus usb hub and a wireless dekstop mouse keyboard set.
So far, I have only used the adapter mentioned in connection with a beamer.
Basically, the adapter is designed for Samsung devices. The protocol standards are set, but I would also suspect that it will not work with your configuration. Sure, you can test it and send it back. But I would look for an adapter for Asus devices on the market. I would be sceptical about the wireless diving screen. You want too much from a micro-USB HDMI adapter. The adapter is just a protocol conversion (USB 3.0 / HDMI).
Either you have a NB/PC with a diving screen or just a tablet. So clarify the use again ;-).
Unfortunately, this is not possible. For this application, a Lumia 950 with display dock is necessary, which works perfectly for mail and Microsoft applications. The Samsung HDMI adapter is suitable, for example, for watching Swisscom TV in the hotel or holiday flat (live only possible in Switzerland).
