so it's mentioned several times in the description ;)
It is only intended for sports. Car rides are the closest thing to cycling, and on a motorbike ride the route could be tracked. I have not tried it out in the car.
I would like to mention that I bought the Gear S3 at Digitec.
No, it doesn't have to, only when you have messages the mobile phone is required. To read the time, use a fitness app or similar, the mobile phone does not need to be connected via Bluetooth.
Hello Doeni68. Can you still operate the other apps? Can you still access the settings? Then I would try a master reset: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C4wEbs7j0PY Otherwise, I would ask the manufacturer or send in the product.
Yes, you need Android 4.4 or higher.
Yes, it works without any problems. Of course, the mobile phone must be present (connection).
We have a new supplier for this item because the previous supplier no longer offers this item. This is also the reason for the price change.
Hello Fog Child If I remember correctly, only the user manual and the wireless charging station incl. cable are included in the scope of delivery.
Speculation is rife at the end of August 2018. To the IFA
You can choose between silent, vibra and sound, just like with a mobile phone.
Hello, Compatibility is not a problem. It is a Bluetooth device and can be paired without any problem. Once it's up and running, it's up and running without any problems. Like everything in the sector, sometimes you have to reboot or something, but SMS, messages and other notifications that the iPhone displays (e.g. barfi.ch News) are shown on the watch. I paired my Samsung S3 Classic with the old iPhone 6 Plus and now with the iPhone X - no problem. However, when you change phones, you have to reset the watch completely (for data protection reasons, so that the watch is not paired with another mobile phone and then, for example, heart rate or fitness data is transferred without you wanting it to be).
I now use the watch with iOS and previously used it with Android. You do notice a difference, on iOS you only get the free apps/dials (there are workarounds for certain apps and dials by buying them on Android first, but it doesn't always work) and you don't have the full functionality (e.g. no remote notifications if your phone stays at home and you have the watch with you and connected via Wi-Fi), but I can personally live with that. The set-up itself is simple and everything that works does what it is supposed to.
Yes the clock has a step and floor counter
Hi R38orn.pr, you will always see different versions under the respective product. There is also the Gear version, which has a silicone wristband. Otherwise, you can of course change the strap yourself. Samsung Gear S3 Frontier (46mm, stainless steel, silicone)
This is probably less of a problem for the watch itself, as long as you don't drown it every day. The leather strap, on the other hand, does not like soapy water and other chemicals used at the hairdresser's and can become "unsightly" relatively quickly.
I don't look at the watch during weight training. The disadvantage is the leather strap, because this is not an advantage for sweaty affairs. Pulse and also calorie consumption work perfectly. rg
As far as I'm concerned, my Samsung Gear S3 Classic is connected to my Sony Xperia Z5 Premium smartphone and everything is working fine. I think the same should be true with an HTC device. In any case, this is an excellent and stylish connected watch!
Yes it is compatible and also on iPhone. I recommend it to you, it's the best connected watch ever. I used to have the S2 which was also very good.
Settings > Bluetooth > "Gear S3" > Gear > Deactivate "Phone Audio
Yes you can, you can answer messages and make phone calls. You can also record memos as far as I know.
I would say they are about the same size. I have the feenix 3 and my wife has the GEAR S 3. It doesn't seem too big!
I use it with a Motorola X Force. Samsung lists many compatible devices at http://www.samsung.com/global/galaxy/gear-s3/device-compatibility/. Mine is not listed, but it works. Presumably the sentence "Gear S3 pairs with smartphones running on Android 4.4 and higher with over 1.5GB RAM." is the head office.
unfortunately I don't know either, but I like this size very much, looks great, maybe this will help you too
Only the design is different and the ring is different from the Classic.
According to our current information, the Gear3 is not compatible with iPhone.
If already, then already -> Please share the link for Switzerland. Germany is not the same as Switzerland and Samsung Switzerland may not have the same promotions at the start (if at all) as Samsung Germany, where, by the way, many more people live... Besides, this is a pre-order for 18.11.2016 -> Until the product can finally be sold from stock, it will already be December here.
