Question for Digitec or the community: Our Samsung Galaxy A7 tablet has recently been in an "eternal" reboot. I.e. it constantly restarts, interrupts again and restarts again. You can't switch it off either. Every now and then a "recovery" screen appears, with little choice (try again, erase app data, power off, view log) but none of the options are of any use. Even "power off" only switches off briefly, then the tablet tries to reboot again. You can't do a factory reset either because the menu for this doesn't appear at all. Even pressing the "Power" & "Volume" buttons together does not bring up these options. Does anyone have a tip / can I solve this myself?

I would like to use this tablet for my HF studies. Actually, simply as a notepad with several OneNote accounts (school account, business account, private account). Is this tablet suitable for this, in terms of size, battery life, manageability, etc.?

Hello, I am also currently studying for a degree in business informatics. I wouldn't recommend it, though, because it's really a cheap product. No pen and no recognition of handwriting. Sometimes also a bit slow. But enough for Netflix, Youtube + Co.

I am looking for a tablet to install school apps/learning games for my kids. Maybe watch something on youtube and use the office programmes. Is there an alternative to this tablet, or could you recommend another one, or will I be satisfied with this one?

Price/performance is certainly good with this tablet and it is also sufficient for the application mentioned. In terms of size, it is also ok for children's hands.

Does the Tab A7 have a SIM card slot? Can it be used to make calls in the GSM network? I didn't find anything about this in the Digitec specs. Merci.

Helpful answer

Hi this model does not have a SIM slot, via a hotspot via mobile phone to the Internet. This A7 costs a little more but has a SIM card slot. Making calls via skype teams or whatsapp or other messengers is therefore possible. Directly via SIM is also possible, but must be activated in the menu. I have ordered 4 tablets for the company, they are fast and well made. Samsung Tab A7 (2020) (10.40", 32GB, Dark Gray, 4G)
