What about the battery life? Is it really only 10 minutes? How does the suction power behave with cat litter, hair and crumbs?

After 5 months, the battery only lasts for 10-20 seconds... I don't think that's great. Does this happen more often, or do I simply have a defective product?

Yes, if Galaxus doesn't offer it, it's certainly possible - I did it that way - at Rowenta or the Swiss Disti. Just search on the web.

where can i find the right replacement filter when the old one is used up?

You can find them at Rowenta, Amazon, fruugo, ebay and migros services. We recommend changing the paper filter every 6 months. Metal filters only need to be washed.

Does the unit have a HEPA filter?

Although the filter is not advertised as HEPA, the filter performance is equivalent to that of a HEPA filter: A highly efficient permanent filter that retains 99.98 % of the dust sucked in.
