where can i find the right replacement filter when the old one is used up?

You can find them at Rowenta, Amazon, fruugo, ebay and migros services. We recommend changing the paper filter every 6 months. Metal filters only need to be washed.
I haven't bothered with this yet, as I have always washed out the filter and continued to use it until now.
