Does the device need a memory card? This was not included in the delivery I just received. When the device is switched on, the error message "no card" appears. The memory card should have been included, right?

Hello Sandra, A memory card is optional. The device has an internal memory of 32MB. I scan a number of photos at a time and then transfer them to the PC using the USB cable.

I have large format negatives, can they also be scanned? How long does the scanner need for a slide/negative in the highest resolution?

I would not recommend the Reflecta 3 in 1 scanner to anyone. It does not scan normal slide sizes to the full extent, i.e. it randomly cuts off the edges. With a Mac and support from Galaxus, I have not been able to view the scanned images directly on the computer. You can only scan on the machine and you need a memory card. The menu navigation is the worst I have ever seen. I'm sorry to be so negative about a product, but this is unusable for me!
