The choice between the Rode VideoMic GO II and the Rode VideoMic NTG depends heavily on your specific requirements and budget. Here are some differences and advantages of the two microphones: Rode VideoMic GO II: Price: cheaper than the VideoMic NTG. Size and weight: Lighter and more compact, making it ideal for mobile use. Plug-and-play: No battery or charging required. Simply connect it to the camera or smartphone and it's ready to use. Target group: Ideal for beginners and vloggers looking for a simple and effective solution. Rode VideoMic NTG: Sound quality: Higher audio quality with more control over the sound. Functions: Has a variety of functions, such as an adjustable gain, a high-pass filter, a high-frequency boost and variable level control. It also has a USB-C connection for use as a USB microphone. Flexibility: Can be used as an on-camera microphone, as a directional microphone in the studio or as a USB microphone for computers. Battery: Has a built-in rechargeable battery that is charged via USB. One charge lasts up to 30 hours. Target group: Suitable for professional applications or for users who need more control and better sound quality. Conclusion: For beginners or if you are looking for a simple, lightweight and affordable microphone that is ready to go, the Rode VideoMic GO II is a good choice. For professional users or if you want more control over the sound and are willing to spend a little more, the Rode VideoMic NTG is more suitable. So it depends on your specific needs which microphone is "better" for you.

I use this mic with a Nikon Z6 camera and have the best experience with it. Because the big brands probably stick to the agreed industry standards, I assume that Panasonic cameras with a 3.5 mm coaxial mic input should be compatible with the microphone. More competent answers to this can probably be found in the Panasonic, or Rohde forums. You could also contact the support pages of Rohde or Panasonic.
