Question about RØDE VideoMic GO II
Hello, is this mic compatible with an older Panasonic camera (SD 300)? I find the following information about the external mic in the manual: "A compatible plug-in powered microphone can be used as an external microphone. ≥ The audio input from the external microphone is stereo (2 ch)" Does this also work with this mono mic? Or does anyone know of a suitable mic? Thank you for your answers.

I use this mic with a Nikon Z6 camera and have the best experience with it. Because the big brands probably stick to the agreed industry standards, I assume that Panasonic cameras with a 3.5 mm coaxial mic input should be compatible with the microphone. More competent answers to this can probably be found in the Panasonic, or Rohde forums. You could also contact the support pages of Rohde or Panasonic.

This microphone is mono only and works with a jack plug connected to the microphone input of a camera, for example. Or you can use it as a table microphone using the usb-c plug directly by connecting it to your computer.
