Yes, because the Sony 90mm has a filter diameter of 62mm, which means it falls between 52 and 67mm. The longer the focal length, the greater the effect of Raynox; it magnifies by about 2.5x with a 100mm lens. Here's a magnification calculator: extreme-macro.co.uk/raynox-adapter-techniques/ With the Sony 90mm, min. focus 0.28m, this gives a magnification of 2.44 ( 2.44 times more than the 1:1 ratio of the lens)
Hoi Roger It depends on the camera. Since there is no macro ring for olympus lens at 60mm f2.8 I thought it would work with this attachment lens. Unfortunately my kamara only focuses at 11cm otherwise not. A colleague recommended Raynox for full-frame Canon. I would test it first to see if it works with your lens. I prefer to invest money in a macro sled and a stable tripod. I hope this information helps you with your purchase decision. FG Ingrid
Unfortunately, I can't answer that question. I don't have enough experience with the Coolpix camera. I only use the P950 now.
According to the manufacturer, the universal snap-on mount works in the following range: 52 to 67 mm
So if it can cost something, I would rather buy a real macro lens.
The attachment lens has a clamping mechanism that just fits on a 67mm lens. The whole thing works amazingly well and the imaging performance is surprisingly good. However, it takes a little practice to get sharp pictures; I always work with manual focus because the focus range is relatively small. Have fun with macro photography Mandi
This does not fit the 70-200 GM: http://raynox.co.jp/german/dcr/dcr250/dcr250indexgm.htm The snap-on mount is too small: the lens comes together with a snap-on mount for 52 to 67 mm filter thread. for the 70-200 GM I would rather take a screw-in close-up lens in a suitable size.
With a step-down ring 49-43mm you can screw the Raynox directly (the close-up lens is 43mm). You can also connect two close-up lenses with step-down rings. (Raynox are 46mm in front and 43mm behind).

The attachment lens is attached to any lens with diameters from 52 - 67mm using a spring clip. The Lumix FZ 300 has a 52mm filter, so it should work without problems.
Hello, the Raynox DCR-250 fits all lenses with an inner diameter of 52-67 mm. I do not know the lens diameter of your camera, you will have to measure it. Greetings
Yes, it is possible to take macro pictures with the Raynox. The attachment is suitable for entry-level macro photography, but in my opinion it does not replace a full macro lens.
The clamping device is suitable for lens diameters of 52-67mm - so no. At best you could try a lens adapter ring 77 to 43 mm or rather directly with a macro intermediate ring.
Good evening, is this lens compatible with Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 14-150mm F4-5.6 II? Thank you.
I do not own this lens. Basically, the close-up lens works with most lenses. But a close-up lens is always a compromise in terms of imaging performance. How much this makes a difference with a specific lens is unfortunately not calculable. You have to try it out.
It works fine on the FZ 1000. It vignettes at wide angle, but as soon as you zoom in, the dark edges disappear. Brilliant for macro shots.
This lens converter has a clamping device. Therefore, no rings are needed.
