Haha, you're right. The manufacturer says: XLR socket to stereo jack plug So the first picture should be the right one if I understand correctly.
Yes, unfortunately sometimes not all details are complete.... but it is clearly FEMALE resp. female ! I also wanted to check before I write something, but it is clearly XLR female "at the back" ;-) Greetings, Mika
