Questions about Pioneer DJ DDJ-400

Hello The DDJ only has an RCA cinch input and only works with Rekordbox from Pioneer on the laptop/PC, i.e. not possible on the mobile phone. I would rather recommend the DDJ 200, as it works via mobile phone or tablet. But again, only with Rekordboy.

There are probably supply bottlenecks or it is a discontinued unit. I still have mine for sale. Not used for approx. 5-10 hours. Bought in January 2021 incl. bag and cable for CHF 381 here at Digi. For CHF 230- I would give it away as I don't have time for it anymore.

It's possible. By connecting your UE Boom to your laptop. Then you select the output in the "rekordbox" programme on the laptop under the settings, and there your connected UE Boom. That's how I did it with a soundbar. However, there is a certain delay due to the Bluetooth. So if you want to mix, the delay will probably be a problem. Compatible: Yes. All functions available as with rekordbox: no. I tried it last week with a colleague and it actually works. But it doesn't feel as clean as with rekordbox. It depends on which functions you want to use. Most people use algoriddim because of the Spotify connection. But the controller really comes into its own with the rekordbox software.
