Question about Pioneer DJ DDJ-400
Together with the Apple Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter, is it possible to use the Ddj 400 with an iPad and a powerbank, without a power connection? but also outdoors, for example?
Apple Lightning to USB 3, this USB connector does not transmit power, only data. Plug a USB switch with power (to the powerbank) into the Apple Lightning to USB 3, connect the DDJ-400 to it and the lights on the mixer will light up. Of course also USB powerbank to ipad Lightning at Apple Lightning to USB 3 (otherwise ipad gets no power). This is how I tried it out. Direct Ipad -> Apple Lightning to USB 3 -> DDJ-400, Does not work :-(
Should be possible, as the controller is only operated via USB. Also with laptop. However, I don't know the performance of the iPad/adapter, possibly too little. Someone would have to have done this to say for sure.
