We have this baby monitor and another one from avent. We have also been in the same house as someone else who also has this baby monitor. So far we have never had a problem

The difference really lies in the colour scheme. The grey can be integrated wonderfully gently into any nursery. It is simple, doesn't stand out much and simply does its job - monitoring the baby day and night and giving the parents a good, safe feeling.

Only the control panel with the volume up/down button can be operated with 4x AA batteries if required. The other part must be connected to the mains.

No, you can't just change the parents' sound. A baby monitor picks up all the child's noises - it's up to you to find the distance that best suits your needs.

Try removing the batteries and keeping both devices (transmitter and receiver) de-energised for 5 minutes. Then reconnect them.

Flat absolutely no problem. EFH (in our case) wooden ceiling and 1 concrete ceiling no problem. But in the basement (i.e. another concrete ceiling) is too much. Then the contact breaks.

We only use the baby monitor with rechargeable batteries, it works great. If you then hook it up to the cable overnight, you never have to change the batteries and you don't get startled at night by the evil "Ding-ding - the battery is flat". I don't remember the clip...
