Question about Philips Avent Audio

Dear Philipps team, dear Galaxus team Why do you only write in the operating instructions that the parent unit has no charging function? As a technically-naïve customer, I would have liked this information before buying. But it would be too cool if you could charge the battery overnight on the parent unit... Kind regards
