Confused. The display has an energy rating of B. However, the text mentions in at least three places how the manufacturer's exclusive technology massively reduces power consumption. I would expect an A?

Helpful answer

The manufacturers' own technologies are emphasised in every advertising text - Philips is no exception. For the energy label, only the power consumption in relation to the size of the monitor counts... and especially the standby value is probably given a high weighting. A value of 0.3W gives a 38" display class "A"... but for this one with 27" only "B"...
