I don't think so, I use a MBP 15" and a Tablet 12" and they fit OK (two separated compartments) , However the space is a little bit tight. It's a photo backpack. But if you remove the interior dividers, you can certainly throw books etc. in there. The laptop compartment is separate on the back.
