At the end of the strip there is a plug connection to the adapter, which is plugged into the socket. A remote control is also included. Have fun!

I see that Paulmann also offers 10m variants (or 2x5m). On the other hand, you can simply solder them together. The problem with the length is rather that the power supply has to come from at least both sides or sometimes in the centre so that the luminosity is uniform over the length. Ohm's law and the line resistance are relentless ;-)

The question of whether the entire 5 m with a maximum power of 24 W is consumed cannot be answered directly from the information provided. The product information provided refers to another model that consumes 20 W at a length of 5 m. For the specific model "SimpLED Stripe Set (RGB, violet, 500 cm, indoor)", there is no precise information on the maximum power consumption. It would be advisable to consult the manufacturer's technical specifications.

Since the signals are sent with infrared, and each remote control included is identical, you simply place the receivers close to each other or aim them at the place you want to control. Controlling them separately could be difficult if all the strips are in the same room.

No, the LED strips lose the last setting in the event of a power failure. As soon as they have power again, they automatically light up with 100% brightness, in white colour if I am not mistaken. The setting remains only as long as the power supply is present. However, if they have power, you can control the LED strips with the enclosed remote control and thus switch them on/off.

Certainly possible as ambient light. But working or something like that is not possible. I have one in my room (about 20 square metres) under a ledge and it looks nice. You can walk around and see things. With 3 pieces on 30 square metres, it is certainly also very feasible within this framework.

Unfortunately, we are not able to respond to such a specific request and the supplier suggests that the customer contact the manufacturer: https://de.paulmann.com/paulmann/shop/kontakt/
