I also use the device with the UPC Digicard - works perfectly and never had any problems. The desired programme can be selected as usual in the TV guide by pressing a button for recording. However, it has happened that a programme was recorded in encrypted form. However, in most cases it could be decoded in real time. I can only recommend the unit. My favourite function is the possibility to watch all recordings in double speed - with sound. It saves me a lot of time. Sometimes you don't even realise that the recording is running at double speed. Until now, I didn't know of any device that could do that.
Dual tuner. In the simplest case, you have a dual tuner. This is able to convert signals from two different sources (usually aerial and cable) into images! Twin tuner. With a twin tuner, it's not so much about the sources, but more about the possibilities: It can receive two channels simultaneously and thus, for example, show a film while another one is being recorded in the background!
Hello, I live in Geneva and receive French and Swiss DTT perfectly. Kind regards
I don't understand the question! what is it about? Buying, selling or what?
I can't answer that because I don't use Telekom Entertainment!
Unfortunately, I cannot answer this question because I operate a Panasonic TV.
Coaxial should be easier to do. This signal converter could be used for this purpose: Digitus Digital to Analogue Audio Conv. (Digital -> Analogue)
Never had any problems recording programmes. Works perfectly.
yes DVD RW is possible... I archive to BD RW and then transfer this as an M2TS file to an external HDD.
Unfortunately, I cannot answer this question. I ordered the Panasonic for a colleague. I'm up to date, so I didn't bother with it. Sorry.
I suppose so. I don't have Swisscom but an equivalent product from the antenna cooperative in the village. It works just like UPC used to, you connect it, load programmes and it's ready to record.
Yes, this device can read cd. dvd. blu ray. and blu ray 3D.
I have no problems with it, but I am with Quickline. I can highly recommend the device from my side. Keyword recording is brilliant and I no longer need a TV booklet ;-) Only the missing mute button bothers me. If I want to switch off the sound, I need the TV remote control. But that's complaining at a high level.
I have exactly this situation with the same Panasonic device. I plugged the TV cable from the socket directly into the device. This way I can record 3 parallel programmes. In the TV set, which has its own tuner, I can watch another, fourth channel directly.
Most of the time. However, sometimes (approx. 1x every 1-2 months) a restart (with interruption of the power supply) is necessary. The rest of the time the unit runs perfectly. However, digicards are no longer forced (new set top boxes available from upc).
According to Panasonic, the model designation EG is for Germany, Austria and Switzerland, K stands for black colour. 3 channels can be recorded simultaneously.

Yes, you can do this via the web browser.
Unfortunately, there is no "defragment" menu item for the normal user. There must be a hidden maintenance menu. Unfortunately, I do not know how to access it.
